Women in the New World

This space still has to be filled with analysis.
For now, we can only say that the struggle for sexual equality is not only one of the two or three most crucial struggles of today in its own right, but it is the key to progress in many other issues. It is, for example, a demonstrated fact that as education and economic opportunities to women rise, birth rates fall. So sexual equality is the key to population control and environmental sustainability.

And that is just the beginning of all we have to say about this issue. If you have any ideas, please drop us a line. For some ideas, check out "What Is Socialist Feminism?" on the Democratic Socialists of America website.

In the meantime, we have a few links to get you started on women's issues in the United States and the rest of the world.
